Mbongeni Mbingo, Eswatini Observer Acting Managing Director

Eswatini Observer Acting Managing Director Mbongeni Mbingo will join Khuluma Eswatini’s job interview simulation panel on the 21st of November, which aims to equip recent graduates with critical skills to succeed in their job search. Mbingo, who has extensive hiring experience, particularly in print media, joins Gcebile Dlamini, a human capital executive, who will work with Mbingo in interviewing three candidates during the seminar.

In a brief interview, Mbingo expressed his excitement about being part of this potentially life-changing initiative, which aims to be a building block in an ecosystem that supports the transition of recent graduates from tertiary training into the workforce.

Discussing the job simulation interviews, which are an innovative aspect of the forthcoming GradConnect and Business seminar, Khuluma Eswatini chairman Mandla Luphondvo remarked that this segment may represent a pioneering initiative within the country for preparing graduates as new employment opportunities arise. Khuluma Eswatini will curate and document this unique content to facilitate broader accessibility for a wider audience.

“We are engaged in discussions with a reputable media partner to record the mock interview for eventual broadcast. This initiative aims to ensure the content remains accessible to recent graduates for years to come,” stated Luphondvo.

Some of the confirmed partners for this initiative include OK Foods, Southern Africa Nazarene University (SANU), Oracle Eswatini, Eswatini Observer, MTN Fintech, Voice of the Church, Enactus, Eswatini National Agricultural Union (ESNAU) and Platinum Sounds.
